Sue Carson is an independent singer, songwriter and performer based in Newcastle, Australia. She has worked in pop, opera, music theatre and folk genres and has just released her latest solo album which is an infectious blend of pop, rock and country. Classically trained in voice, Sue is also an award winning multi-instrumentalist playing fiddle, mandolin and guitar.In addition to her band and stage work, Sue teaches contemporary voice at the University of Newcastle Conservatorium.

In 2003, Sue won the title of best female vocal at the ABC Newcastle Music Awards, the latest addition to her impressive list of accolades.
